Deedlines

Terms of Use

These terms govern use of the Deedlines website and mobile applications.

Effective and last updated: September 24, 2026.

Map limitations

Deedlines is an informational map assembled from public records. It is not a survey, title report, appraisal, legal description or boundary determination. Records can be missing, delayed, generalized or incorrect. Do not use Deedlines to build a fence, settle a dispute, enter land, complete a transaction or make a legal decision. Consult the relevant assessor, recorder and a licensed surveyor where accuracy matters.

Acceptable use

Use the service only for lawful research. Do not bypass controls, disrupt the service, automate abusive traffic, misrepresent data as an official survey, use it to harass or discriminate, or republish substantial datasets without permission from the applicable owner.

Public discussions

Each parcel has a public discussion. Anything you post there is public: anyone can read it, with or without an account, together with the short name it is signed with. Post only what you know and have the right to share. Do not post anyone’s personal information, harassment, threats, hate, spam or advertising, or anything unlawful, and do not present a post as an official record or survey.

You are responsible for what you post, and you give Deedlines a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display it in the service. Deedlines may remove any post and suspend posting for anyone who breaks these terms. Use Report on a post to flag it for review, and Hide to stop seeing someone’s posts. Posts are other readers’ opinions, not Deedlines’ statements or verified facts.

Accounts

An account is optional; you need one to keep saved parcels across devices and to post in discussions. You are responsible for activity under your account and access to your identity provider. You may delete the account at any time. Deedlines may suspend access reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks or violations of these terms.

Membership, trial and automatic renewal

Membership is sold monthly at $19.99 plus applicable tax, charged when you subscribe and every month thereafter, or annually at $99.99 plus applicable tax. Checkout shows the price and any applicable tax before you confirm. A new customer choosing the annual membership may receive one seven-day free trial; unless you cancel before the trial ends, it converts to the paid annual subscription. Both memberships automatically renew for additional terms of the same length at the price then disclosed until canceled.

Cancel online at any time through Manage billing in the web app. A cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the trial or the current paid term; you retain access until then and no later renewal is charged. Stripe processes website payments and provides receipts, invoices, payment-method updates and subscription management. The iOS and Android companion apps do not offer or direct users to outside purchases.

Refunds, payment failures and disputes

Except where required by law or expressly approved by Deedlines, paid membership fees are not prorated or refunded for unused time. Request billing help through support. An approved full refund ends paid access and cancels the related open subscription. Access may be suspended for a failed payment or while a charge dispute is unresolved, and a lost dispute may cancel the subscription. A dispute resolved in your favor can restore access if the underlying subscription remains active.

Deleting an account cancels its subscription and removes product data, but does not erase transaction, tax, refund, dispute or fraud-prevention records that must be retained. Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as available without a guarantee that every county, parcel, attribute or date is complete or current. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deedlines is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss from reliance on the map or interruption of the service. Rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.
